There will be no further cold conditions in Odisha as the minimum (night) temperature is likely to rise in the next 24 hours, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday.

As per IMD, the minimum temperature is likely to rise gradually by 3 to 4 degree Celsius during the next three days and no large change will occur thereafter in the districts of Odisha.

Meanwhile, several parts of the State are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorm activities till January 25, 2022.

Weather forecast and warning for districts of Odisha for next few days:

Day-1 (valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 21.01.2022)

Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kalahandi and Kandhamal.

Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 21.01.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 22.01.2022)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Fog Alert: Malkangiri, Koraput, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Sonepur and Bolangir districts.

Day-3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 22.01.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 23.01.2022)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur and Deogarh.

Day-4 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 23.01.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 24.01.2022)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara.

Yellow Warning (Be updated) Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara.

Day-5 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 24.01.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 25.01.2022)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
