Dense fog alert for Odisha districts: IMD
No significant change was observed in the minimum or night temperature observed over most parts of the country during the past 24 hours, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.
As per IMD, light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on November 20 and 21.
Similarly, isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on November 18th and 19th. IMD further predicted isolated hailstorm activity over Assam and Meghalaya on November 20 and 21.

IMD's Fog Alert
Dense to very dense fog conditions are very likely to prevail in night/ morning hours in isolated pockets of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh till November 23 and East Uttar Pradesh till 19th.

Dense fog conditions are also very likely to prevail in night/ morning hours in isolated pockets of West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh till November 20th and Uttarakhand during 20th-23rd November.
Forecast Of Temperature:
- No large change in minimum temperatures over Northwest & East India during next 5 days.
- Gradual fall in minimum temperatures by 2-3°C is very likely over Central India during next 5 days.
- No large change in minimum temperatures over northeast India during next 2 days and gradual rise by 2-3°C during subsequent 3 days.

Day 1 (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 19.11.2024): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Kalahandi and Kandhamal.
Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 19.11.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 20.11.2024): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Kalahandi and Kandhamal.
