The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday said that there will be no significant change in the minimum (night) temperature in several parts of Odisha in the next two hours. However, there is a possibility of fall in minimum temperature by 3 to 5 degrees thereafter in the state.

As per IMD’s Regional Centre in Bhubaneswar, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul and Sundargarh.

Day-1 (valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 04.01.2023)

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Koraput, Boudh, Bolangir, Sonepur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sunadargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar.

Yellow Warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul, Sundargarh.

Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 04.01.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 05.01.2023)

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sundargarh,Jharsuguda, Cuttack.

Day-3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 05.01.2023 up to 0830 hrs IST of 06.01.2023)

Dry weather most likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
