Thunderstorm Alert For Odisha Districts
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday predicted light to moderate rain in several parts of Odisha from February 19. Apart from moderate rain, the IMD has predicted thunderstorm and lightning in some pockets of the state. A yellow warning has also been issued by the IMD for some districts.
As per IMD, there will be a gradual rise in the minimum temperature (night temperature) by 2 to 3 degree C during next three days and no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha.

Day 4 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 19.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 20.02.2025): Light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhargarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal,Balasore.
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhargarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Balasore.
Day 5 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 20.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 21.02.2025): Light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhargarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam,Balasore.
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore.
Day 6 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 21.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 22.02.2025): Light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur,Kendrapada, Cuttack,Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhargarh, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati.
