After a brief gap, several parts of Odisha are expected to experience fresh spell of rain in the coming days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday predicted light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorm activities in different districts of the State from February 24 onwards.

As per IMD, there will be no large change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) during the next 3 to 4 days over the districts of Odisha.

Weather Forecast: Dry weather is most likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha till February 24.

Day-3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 24.02.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 25.02.2022)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh,Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Day-4 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 25.02.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 26.02.2022)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of north Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of south Odisha.

Yellow Warning (Be updated):

Thunderstorm with lighting is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore.

Day-5 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 26.02.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 27.02.2022)

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal and Kandhamal.
