IMD Issues Yellow Warning For Fog
After reeling from intense cold conditions, people in Odisha can expect relief as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a rise in the minimum (night) temperature.
As per IMD’s latest forecast, the minimum temperature is very likely to rise by 2 to 3 degree Celsius during the next two days. However, several districts will experience dense fog in early morning hours.
The IMD has also issued a ‘yellow warning’ for dense fog in different parts of the state from tomorrow.
Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Khurda, Puri, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.
Yellow Warning: Isolated dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal,Cuttack, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Khordha.
Yellow Warning: Isolated dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Kandhamal.
Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal.
