The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted thunderstorm and heavy rainfall in several parts of Odisha in the next few days.
The weather bureau said thunderstorm with lightning, hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places of the state and issued an ‘Orange’ warning for some districts.

Hailstorm likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Gajapati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Balasore.
