Hot and humid conditions alert for coastal districts of Odisha; IMD issues yellow warning

The people in coastal districts of Odisha are likely to experience hot and humid conditions, predicted the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.

 A yellow warning has been issued by the IMD for several districts for the next few days.

The IMD has also predicted light to moderate rain and thundershowers at some parts of the state. However, no warning for thunderstorms has been issued by the weather agency.

Yellow Warning: Hot and humid weather conditions are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati.

Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 03.06.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 04.06.2025)

Yellow Warning: Hot and humid weather conditions very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati.

Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 04.06.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 05.06.2025)
