The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted that several parts of Odisha will experience heavy rainfall activities in the next 2-3 days.
The Low Pressure area over coastal north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal now lies over north coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal and the associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting south-westwards with height.
Though the southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from several parts of Odisha, the remaining parts are experiencing rain and thunderstorm activities for the past 24 hours.
