Odisha continued to sizzle under heat wave conditions with Titilagarh recording the highest maximum (day) temperature of 42.2 degree Celius on Thursday.

As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), the heat wave conditions will persist in several parts of Odisha in the coming days as well. Apart from Titilagarh, Bolangir and Jharsugud recorded maximum temperature of 41.2 degree Celsius each.

The IMD further said that there will be no large change in maximum temperature during the next three days over the districts of Odisha and slight fall by about 2 degrees in subsequent two days. A Yellow warning for heat wave has been issued for several districts of the State till April 2, 2022.

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

ight to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara Rayagada and Gajapati.

Day-5 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 04.04.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 05.04.2022)

Light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of north coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj,Dhenkanal, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam and Kandhamal.
