A fresh Low Pressure area is likely to form over south Andaman sea and neighbourhood by November 13 and it is likely to move west-north-westwards and become more marked during subsequent 48 hours, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday.
As per IMD, the Depression over southwest Bay of Bengal moved west-northwest-wards and lay centered over southwest and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal about 130 km east-southeast of Chennai and 150 km east-northeast of Puducherry. It is very likely to continue to move west-northwest-wards and cross north Tamil Nadu & adjoining south Andhra Pradesh coasts around Chennai during evening hours today.
The system does not have any direct impact over Odisha, said IMD in a release.

Day 1 (valid from 1330 hrs IST of 11.11.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 12.11.2021) Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput and at one or two places over the district of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Dhenkanal and Puri.
Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 12.11.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 13.11.2021)
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and at one or two places over the district of Nuapada, Bolangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Nayagarh, Kalahandi, Cuttack, Kendrapara ,Jagatsinghpur, Puri and Khordha.
Day-3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 13.11.2021up to 0830 hrs IST of 14.11.2021) Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada and at one or two places over the district of Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Kendrapara Jajpur and Dhenkanal.
Day-4 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 14.11.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 15.11.2021) Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at few places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Koraput, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri and at one or two places over the district of Bolangir, Nuapada, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Boudh, Khordha, Cuttack, Kendrapara Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati and Nayagarh.
Day-5 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 15.11.2021 up to 0830 hrs IST of 16.11.2021) Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati,Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Kandhamal and Bolangir.
