Odisha to experience rainfall activities: IMD
There will be no large change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) during next 24 hours and thereafter a gradual rise by 2-3 degree C during next four days over the districts of Odisha is expected, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday.
As per IMD, several parts of Odisha are expected to witness dense fog during early morning hours. Similarly, there is a forecast of rain in some districts of the state from February 19, 2025.
Several coastal districts of Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate rainfall for a period of two to three days.
Day 1 (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 16.02.2025)
Yellow Warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Khordha, Cuttack, Sundargarh, Nayagarh, Ganjam.
Day 5 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 19.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 20.02.2025): Light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal.
Day 6 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 20.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 21.02.2025): Light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada,Sundargarh.
Day 7 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 21.02.2025 to 0830 hrs IST of 22.02.2025): Light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Cuttack, Khordha.
