The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted no major change in the minimum temperature (night) during the next 24 hours. However, the minimum temperature is likely to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha.

The IMD has also issued a yellow warning for dense fog in several parts of the state in the next 24 hours. Apart from this, several districts are also likely to experience light rainfall activities from January 31, 2024.

Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 29.01.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 30.01.2024)

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur one or two places over the districts of North Odisha.

Day 4 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 31.01.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 01.02.2024)

Light rain likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar.

Day 5 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 01.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 02.02.2024)

Light rain likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.
