A cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge over south Andaman Sea around December 4, informed India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday.

At present, a cyclonic circulation lies over central parts of Bay of Bengal in lower tropospheric levels. Due to easterly wave, isolated to light/moderate rainfall is very likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep during the next 4-5 days, said IMD.

Weather observed during past 24 hours ending at 0830 hrs IST of today

Minimum temperatures are in the range of 8-10 degree Celsius over many parts of Northwest and adjoining Central India. Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2-3 degree C over isolated parts of Northwest and Central India.

As per IMD, there will be no significant change in minimum temperatures very likely over northern parts of the country during the next 5 days.

Weather forecast and warning for districts of Odisha

Day-2 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 30.11.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 01.12.2022): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Gajapati.

Day-3 (valid from 0830 hrs IST of 01.12.2022 up to 0830 hrs IST of 02.12.2022): Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Boudh, Angul.

As per IMD, there will be no large change in the minimum temperature (Night temperature) over the districts of Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days
