A cyclonic circulation lies over southeast Rajasthan and a trough/wind discontinuity runs from southeast Rajasthan to northern parts of Coastal Karnataka, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.
As per IMD, another trough runs from southeast Rajasthan to northeast Bangladesh in lower tropospheric level. Under its influence, isolated to scattered light/moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds (occasionally reaching 30-50 kmph) is very likely over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, over Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra during April 10- April 13, 2024.

West Madhya Pradesh: Light to moderate rain accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning and squally winds (speed occasionally reaching 40-50 kmph) at isolated places on April 11; with gusty winds (speed occasionally reaching 30-40 kmph) at isolated places on April 12 and with lighting at isolated places on April 13 and 14.
Chhattisgarh: Light to moderate rain accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds (speed occasionally reaching 30-40 kmph) at isolated places during April 10 –April 14.
