The cyclonic circulation over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh and the neighbourhood has become less marked. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday predicted that the maximum or the day temperature in several parts of Odisha is expected to witness a rise in the next 48 hours.

As per the IMD’s latest forecast, the maximum temperature is likely to rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius during the next two to three days and no large change is expected thereafter.

Similarly, the minimum temperature is likely to rise by 2 to 4 degrees during the next two days and no large change is expected thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha. Meanwhile, several parts of Odisha are also likely to experience rainfall activities as well.

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak.

Day 4 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 15.03.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 16.03.2024)

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Nayagarh, Khordha, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh.

Day 5 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 16.03.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 17.03.2024)

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal.

Day 6 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 17.03.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 18.03.2024)

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak and at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kendrapara.
