As predicted, a cyclonic circulation has formed over eastcentral and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal (BoB) on Saturday.

As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), a low pressure is likely to develop under its influence over westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal around September 20, 2022.

The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) in Odisha on September 18 and 19. Similarly, heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) is also expected on September 20.
