IMDs latest forecast on rainfall
The cyclonic circulation over Jharkhand and neighbourhood extending upto 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height has become less marked, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday.
As per IMD, the monsoon trough now passes through Jaisalmer, Kota, Shivpuri, Sidhi, Balasore, and thence eastwards to Northwest Bay of Bengal. Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm and rainfall activities in the coming days.

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati.
Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 10.07.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 11.07.2023)
Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangapur, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh.
Day 4 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 11.07.2023 to 0830 hrs IST of 12.07.2023)
Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangapur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.
