People across the globe celebrate ‘Friendship Day’ on the first Sunday of August every year. On this special day, a video has surfaced in which three children are seen fighting with a giant snake to save their pet dog.

The empathy of the kids towards their friend by risking their lives has touched the hearts of millions of netizens and the video is going crazy viral.

In the video, a huge python is found wrapped around a dog’s lower body while the pup is crying for his life. While an older boy can be seen trying to hold the python’s head tightly to the ground, two other younger kids are seen pulling the snake’s body to loosen its grasp on their pet.

After a herculean effort, the three boys managed to grab the snake by pulling it from opposite directions and forcing it to let go of its hold on the dog.

The pet animal finally escaped from the python’s grasp and looked unharmed. The video has so far garnered over 19.7 million views.
