On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, a young woman wished him with a beautiful Sanskrit song. A video of the woman singing the song for PM Modi inside the Delhi Metro has taken social media by storm.

The beautiful moment was captured while PM Modi inaugurated the extension of the Delhi Airport Metro Express Line from Dwarka Sector 21 to a new metro station ‘YashoBhoomi Dwarka Sector 25’.

After inaugurating the new metro station, PM Modi took a ride on the Delhi Metro and interacted with his fans and the commuters. He also happily obliged for selfies and pictures by the commuters.

Meanwhile, a female passenger requested him that she wanted to dedicate a song for him on his birthday. Later, she sang a beautiful song in Sanskrit, the video of which is now going viral on social media platforms.

“Janma-dinam-idham ayī prīya sakhe | shantanotu te sarvadā mudam || prārthayāmahe bhava shatāyushī | īshvaras-sadā tvām cha rakshatu || punya karmanā kīrtimārjaya | jīvanam tava bhavatu sārthakam (Happy birthday to the dear one. May this birthday bring joy and prosperity to you. Praying to god for your long life. May god always protect you. May you walk on the path of noble deeds and your life be fulfilled)”, she sang to PM Modi.
