In an era where viral videos dominate our daily scrolls, even India's most celebrated train, Vande Bharat, isn't immune to scrutiny. Touted as a symbol of modern Indian engineering and luxury rail travel, Vande Bharat recently made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Within days, two videos surfaced online, with one showing water leaking through the train’s ceiling, and another capturing a violent assault over a seat involving an MLA’s supporters.
In one viral clip, passengers aboard the Delhi-bound 22415 Vande Bharat train were caught off-guard as water allegedly started leaking from the roof, resembling an in-train waterfall. Drenched and visibly uncomfortable, commuters scrambled for shelter under jackets and bags.
Netizens were quick to mock and criticise. “Vande Bharat: The first train with a shower service,” one user joked. Another fumed, “Brand-new train and it’s already leaking? Incompetency at its peak.” Many questioned the quality of manufacturing and demanded accountability from railway authorities.

In a separate incident, another video showed a man being physically assaulted on board the Vande Bharat train after allegedly refusing to give up his seat to a BJP MLA. The MLA, reportedly travelling with his family, did not intervene as his supporters thrashed the passenger, leaving him injured and bleeding.
