Many parts of the Earth never experience nights for months. This may astonish most. But, people living in these parts of the planet experience the season of endless sunshine and for them it is quiet normal.

A video is going viral on various social media platforms showing how this phenomenon works and what sunset and night actually look like in some parts of the world.

The video shared by ‘unknowns_universe’ has garnered around 30 million views and two million likes. The song ‘Cornfield Chase’ from the film Interstellar over the video makes it even more spectacular. The video depicts how the phenomenon of ‘Midnight Sun’ works.

This unique phenomenon shown in the reel occurs exclusively at the earth’s poles is called the ‘Midnight Sun’. This is due to the tilt of our planet, which makes one of the poles more facing the Sun at certain times of the year, indicating that that same hemisphere is in summer.
