A video has emerged over various social media platforms in which two thieves were found breaking into a liquor shop in Tamil Nadu’s Thiruvallur by drilling holes into its walls.

However, they were caught red-handed in the act. In the clip, it was seen that the cops are asking the thieves to come out of the shop through the drilled holes.

Both the thieves had boozed inside the shop before coming out. As per reports, the men had originally planned to sell the stolen liquor. However, they changed their strategy later and decided to enjoy the drinks before leaving.

A Twitter user posted the video with details, “Two men drilled a hole in the wall of a liquor shop & were boozing inside when caught red-handed by a patrol police in Thiruvallur district. The men had planned to steal the liquor bottles but decided to booze before taking off when they were caught.”

Responding to the video, Twitter users were left in splits.

“The best part is police made those thieves crawl out of the same hole. They could have called the owner and opened the door,” one user wrote.

“I love the way the police handled them,” another user commented.
