Watch: Snake on Indian Railways' Garib Rath creates panic among passengers
Many people prefer to travel in AC coaches on trains for comfort, cleanliness, and safety. However, sometimes, there can be emergencies posing risks to passengers.
Recently, an incident on the Jabalpur-Mumbai Garib Rath Express train caused panic when a snake was spotted on an AC coach.
A user shared a video on the platform X, captioning it: “Snake in train! Snake in AC G17 coach of 12187 Jabalpur-Mumbai Garib Rath Express. Passengers moved to another coach, and G17 was locked.”

The incident took place in coach G17, where a snake was seen coiled up on the upper berth.
The video shows the snake around the support rail between the upper and lower berths. As the footage continued, the snake tried to enter the AC vent.
Another user on ‘X’ reported that the snake had entered the coach from a nearby tree when the train stopped near Kasara railway station in Maharashtra. The coach was eventually detached from the train after the snake crawled into the AC panel.
