Newly elected Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde has been hitting the headlines for the last few days. Now, a sweet video of an interaction between Shinde and a little girl is going viral on social media.

In the video that is doing the rounds on social media, the little girl is seen asking Shinde if she can also become a CM  by helping flood-affected people of Assam.

According to reports, the video was filmed during an interaction at Eknath Shinde's bungalow, Nandanvan, in Mumbai.

The video has been shared by news agency ANI on Twitter.

The girl, identified as Annada Damre, in the video can be seen asking Shinde in Marathi: "When there was a flood in Assam, you waded through waters to help people. Can I become the chief minister by helping flood-affected people?"

To which, Eknath Shinde jokingly said, "Yes, you can definitely become the chief minister. We will pass a resolution on this."

She also requested him to take her to Guwahati during Diwali, to which Shinde replied, "Sure, we will go" and then asked if she wanted to visit the Kamakhaya Temple in Guwahati. Annada said, " Yes."

At the end of the video, Shinde is seen turning to other party members in the room and remarking, “The girl is very smart.”

Notably, Eknath Shinde had visited Guwahati last month along with other rebel Shiv Sena MLAs after parting ways with Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.
