Love was truly in the air and in the earth during a breathtaking proposal in Guatemala. What started as a romantic moment high above the clouds quickly turned into a scene straight out of a movie when nature decided to join the celebration, making the moment unforgettable.

Proposal with a Fiery Twist

The viral clip, shared by Morgan Alexa on Instagram, shows her posing for a picture with her boyfriend atop Volcán Acatenango. Moments later, her partner drops to one knee, ring in hand, to pop the big question. As she says “yes,” Volcán Fuego in the distance dramatically erupts, creating a breathtaking scene straight out of a movie.

A Magical, Once-in-a-Lifetime Moment

Sharing the video, Morgan wrote, “My proposal video… I got proposed to by my long-term boyfriend @jleenumbers on Volcán Acatenango in Guatemala.” She explained that this was the first visible eruption of the day, calling it a lucky and symbolic moment.

“In Guatemalan indigenous culture, Volcán Fuego is considered a sacred link to the spiritual world, with eruptions seen as manifestations of the supernatural,” she added. “Taking ‘I lava you’ to a whole new level.”
