Viral Video: Cop kicks elderly man, hangs him upside down at railway station, #Watch

A shocking video is making rounds on social media where a police constable is seen brutally thrashing an old man at Jabalpur railway station in Madhya Pradesh.

According to sources, the elderly man was misbehaving with the police officer and his fellow passengers at the station in an inebriated state.

In the 30-second video, the police constable, identified as Anant Mishra, can be seen kicking the elderly man in his face and punching him.

The constable then dragged the man by his feet on the railway platform, pulled him and was on the verge of throwing him on the railway track. The video that was recorded by one of the passengers inside a stationary train shows the cop repeatedly kicking the victim's left hand.

A policeman thrashed an elderly man with kicks, punches and belts at Itarsi Junction in Hoshangabad district. The incident is said to have happened on Wednesday. The cop from Rewa district has been suspended after the video of the incident went viral on social media.

What is more disturbing is the fact that despite the constable constantly thrashing the elderly man multiple times at the railway station, other passengers stood as mute spectators. But no one came forward to stop the cop from the brazen act.

The video was widely shared on social media and netizens heavily criticised the police constable for his action.
