Recently, a video went viral on social media showing a mother dog mourning the death of her puppy. 

In the video, a man was digging a grave to bury the puppy, but as he began to cover it with soil, the mother dog tried to stop him.

When he continued, she began to cry and lay down beside her puppy’s grave, her eyes filled with tears.

The video resonated with many viewers, amassing over 8.2 million views and 700K likes.

Comments flooded in, including one that wrote, “Who says animals don't have feelings? This is so heartbreaking. Please stop harming these beautiful souls.” 

Another user shared a personal experience, saying, “I witnessed something similar. My dog gave birth to three puppies, but two died shortly after birth, and the third one died a day later. It was so hard to see her suffering.”

Some also pointed out that the video featured a male dog, not the mother of the deceased puppy.
