Video of Girls' gang mercilessly thrashing school-going girl in Mumbai's Versova goes viral

A viral video of a group of young girls mercilessly beating up a school-going girl has the internet in shock. The girls brutally thrash the young girl, pull her hair and punch her even as she is alone and fails to defend herself. 

The girls continue to beat her and hurl abuses until she falls down to the ground. Later, a group of boys intervene and try to solve the matter. However, the girls once again attack the young girl even as she tries to walk away.

They continue to harass her and scream at her using filthy language. Shockingly, eyewitnesses and locals just pass by without even trying to save the girl. The heinous incident is not from any rural area but from Mumbai’s Versova near Nana Nani Park, Andheri West.

The incident has left netizens enraged who demanded strict action against the girls’ gang.

“ohhhhh... this is happened at our Yari Road ... Very Sad .. this is a cool place and hope the Gang from outside, they have done a serious crime. I request @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice, arrest them quickly,” commented a user.
Another user shared, “Shame on those boys who are enjoying this instead of stopping them. What the hell! The language, the audacity, very unfortunate upbringing.”

“All the girls and boys both need psychiatric help and should be punished… And they even have the audacity to film this? This is abnormal behaviour for kids! And what were the local people doing? Watching a kid getting beaten up? What’s wrong with the whole society?,” commented another user.

“Girl gang and all juveniles 😠 Hope their school also calls parents of the assaulters and hands over rustication letters,” commented an angry netizen.
