A grand gesture by a man for his wife as a Valentine's Day surprise went terribly wrong. The man, seeking to patch things up with his wife, bought her a Porsche Macan in hopes of rekindling their romance.

However, his plans went awry after his wife spurned the lavish gift. Frustrated, the man reportedly dumped the Porsche Macan, reportedly acquired for about 3 million rubles (approximately Rs 27 lakh) in the dumping yard.

Initially, the husband planned to gift the car on International Women's Day, March 8. However, he later advanced his plans to February 14 (Valentine’s Day). However, his plans backfired as his wife refused to accept the gift, forcing him to dump it.

Now, pictures of the beribboned Porsche sitting inside a dumpster are going viral. Netizens were shocked to find that the man threw away the super-expensive Porsche over a trivial matter.

Social media spectacle:

However, reports suggest that the reports are false and the truth is that it was just a social media stunt. This was nothing more than a social media stunt to grab attention and likes online.

Here’s what the actual truth is:

If reports are to be believed, the husband-wife story is completely false and baseless. The car was actually used by vloggers to make videos and gain attention online.

“The story that has been spread across the Internet is a fabrication. The Porsche was used by vloggers to film a video,” a Telegram user revealed.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the vloggers would be fined for violating waste management rules. After spreading the video, the vloggers also took away the Porsche from the dumpster.
