A video of a trainer asking people to roll ‘belan’ on their stomachs to reduce belly fat is making rounds on social media. The video, which has gone viral now, has sparked a debate on the number of people that follow such things and if it can really help reduce fat.

Social media users have pointed out that the trainer claims to cure thyroid with a massager and slap people’s underarms to cure breast cancer and improve lipid profile. With over 213K followers, the lady trainer has an Instagram id as ‘The Perfect Health Hyd koti’,and she also takes online classes.

Well-known sports and fitness trainer Chirag Barjatya shared the video and wrote, “Main bol raha hoon bahut scope hai iss desh main.”

“You won’t believe the number of people that follow her. We are so gullible,” commented a user.

Another user commented, “Major problem in today’s world is that many people are trying to achieve positive life with negative mindset hence anything is sellable.”

However, some also came out in support of the video with a user saying that 'any activity is good'.

"...There is an epidemic of depression, obesity and diabetes in India. Let's encourage anything that gets people moving," the user said.

"That's not an issue if someone wants to join this type of workshop," wrote another user.

"I don't see a problem here; she is masquerading dancing and helping ppl to gain fitness," commented a netizen.
