‘This is why men die early’: Hostel boys launch skyrockets at each other on Diwali

Diwali celebrations among boys can be a loud, boisterous and crazy experience. But a few college students in Odisha took things to the next level altogether by waging a war with firecrackers. The video purportedly filmed in a college hostel in Odisha has gone crazy viral, taking Diwali celebrations to a new level.

The video shows two groups of students launching firecrackers at each other’s hostel buildings. Skyrockets whizz from one building to another. At one point, one of the boys, wearing a helmet, launches skyrockets at his opponent’s building.

The video shows him continuously launching skyrockets at the building, sending sparks flying as his supporters follow him. The footage of the unusual Diwali celebrations has gone crazy viral on Reddit, Twitter and Instagram, garnering both amusing and critical responses online.

While many criticised the students and termed the hostel wars dangerous, others chose to see the humorous side.
