Delhi youth denied entry into night club by owner in Rajinder Nagar
A few days after a farmer from Haveri was denied entry into the famous GT Mall in Bengaluru for wearing dhoti, a similar case has been reported from none other than the National Capital, New Delhi. Yes, you read it right!
This time it happened to a well-educated youth and interestingly, he was not even wearing dhoti. Like every other, club goers, the youth was wearing decent clothes like a normal Delhitee. Unfortunately, his ‘shakal’ was not good enough as per the club owner.
Shockingly, the incident occurred in the elite Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi. As per the viral video, a young girl along with her friend had gone to club Illume when they were denied entry citing ‘profile issue’.
When they inquired, they were told that their ‘shakal aur kapde ache nahin hai’. Sharing their plight, the victim shared on X and wrote, “My friend was not allowed to enter into this club because the owner said ki LADKE K SHAKAL AUR KAPDE AACHI NHI HAI!!! Location- Illume, Rajinder Nagar, Delhi”

“That pathetic club and its rude, arrogant, illiterate owner denied him entry by just saying, "Shaqal acchi nhi hai." What era are you in? How pathetic and ill-mannered can you be? What the * do they mean by "PROFILE ISSUE"?” she added.
The incident has spread outrage on social media with netizens demanding action against the club owner.
“Same sort of discrimination is done at fancy gymkhanas like Bombay Gym, Otters Club, Willingdon Club. Let’s start bashing them too,” shared a user.
Another user shared, “This happens very regular. have faced the visual judgements many times.. denied entry until someone who was already inside had to come out and say I was with them. Our country loves colourism more than the US.”
“Why to go in such low class clubs. They will beg for customers if people stop going,” shared another user.
