Sadhguru's free meditation app, Miracle of the Mind, crossed one million downloads in just 15 hours, surpassing ChatGPT’s early adoption rate. Launched on February 26 during Mahashivratri, it has topped charts in India and Canada.

Indian spiritual guru Sadhguru, launched his free meditation app, Miracle of the Mind recently and has now announced that it has achieved an astonishing feat by crossing one million downloads within just 15 hours of its launch.

The rapid adoption rate surpasses even that of ChatGPT in its early stages, as per a report by India Today. The app, launched on February 26 to coincide with Mahashivratri, is also trending in app stores of both Android and iOS platforms in several countries and even occupies the top spot in its category in India and Canada, as per the app's social media posts.

A Viral Sensation

The app’s rapid climb and appeal could be because of its simplicity and effectiveness. The app offers a seven-minute guided meditation feature, which has become a viral sensation. Additionally, it is also available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Russian, and Spanish, bringing in users from across the globe.

AI-powered Insights

Beyond meditation, Miracle of the Mind also features an AI-powered wisdom tool, which boasts of a unique feature that provides personalized insights from Sadhguru’s vast archive, offering users deeper understanding and guidance.

Global Demand for Mindfulness

The success of Miracle of the Mind highlights the growing global demand for accessible mindfulness solutions. Addressing the app’s success on social media, Sadhguru emphasized the importance of mental health, urging people to invest seven minutes daily for their well-being.

Notably, this milestone comes at a critical time when mental health challenges are on the rise. In India alone, close to 60-70 million people suffer from common and severe mental disorders. 

Further, in his X (formerly Twitter) post, Sadhguru stated, “It is expected that by 2050, about 30-33% of the world's population will be mentally ill. This is because we always think that solutions to our challenges are outside of us.”  To eliminate this possibility, he asked users of his app to dedicate seven minutes of their daily lives.
