RPF dog on duty! Alert stray dog 'warns' passengers from hanging near door of moving train, watch

Passengers are strictly prohibited from boarding and alighting a moving train. Despite the warnings and potential hazards, incidents of passengers slipping off from running trains. The safety of passengers is a growing concern as numerous incidents of accidents are reported regularly. Well, recently a video surfaced on the internet that shows a stray dog 'warning' passengers from hanging near the door of a moving train.

Alert Stray Dog 'On Duty'!

In the viral video, the dog is seen barking and following a man, trying to board the moving train. The man successfully steps onto the running train without any damage. However, the dog waits for a few seconds until he boards the train. Next, the dog is seen barking and rushing towards the door of the moving train where people are seen either hanging or sitting near the entrance. Not just any particular passenger/s, the dog continues to sprint towards such passengers who are standing, sitting or hanging near the door.

From the dog's action, it seems, it is warning the passengers from hanging near the door of the moving train. Such uncommon behaviour of the dog is certainly surprising. Seemingly, the stray dog did the job of an RPF official.

While the origin of the dog couldn't be verified, it is shared on Instagram by feed_to_paws. As claimed, the incident was filmed at Howrah railway station. Moreover, the text flashing on the clip read, "On duty RPF dog." (sic)

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) is responsible for the safety and security of the passengers while ensuring smooth operations and preventing crimes.
