A young Chhattisgarh couple was arrested after a video of them seemingly romancing each other on a moving motorcycle went viral.

Supposedly filmed on the streets of the Bhilai, the clip shows a girl hugging his beau, identified as, Javed (27) while sitting on the fuel tank of the bike.

According to reports, the boy was riding a bike with no number plate on it. The guy has a furniture shop in Vaishali nagar and had bought a stolen bike worth Rs 1.5 lakh for only Rs 9000 from Rajnandgaon.

The video shared on 21 January, which has gone viral now on social media, shows the boy is riding a bike and the girl is sitting on the tank of the bike facing the boy.

In the viral clip, the girl is seen kissing the boy by hugging him.

Reportedly, the couple at 9:50 am left Jayanti stadium from the back road. Then they stopped at Nehru Nagar for some time in front of Bhelwa Talab. Later they went to a restaurant in Smriti Nagar. However, the police were unable to detain them as they could not identify them. Later, the Durg police was able to track the bike and detain the couple on January 22 (Sunday) and asked them to recreate the crime scene at Globe Chowk.

The couple was booked for negligent driving after the apparent public display of affection (PDA) became a safety hazard.

Meanwhile, after investigation, Durg Police found out that they created the scene intentionally with no reason behind it. The investigation is still under process.

In a similar incident recently, a PDA-heavy Uttar Pradesh couple got in trouble after they threw caution to the wind and were seen “kissing on a bike” in the busy Hazratganj area.
