Social media sensation Ranu Mondal, who hogged the limelight after singing Lata Mangeshkar’s ‘Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai’, has once again returned to social media after a brief pause. This time, she returned as a Bengali bride. Dressed in a red banarasi saree, golden jewellery, Ranu Mondal is completely decked up like a Bengali bride.

Sitting like a bride, Mondal can be seen singing ‘Yeh Kya Hua, Kaise Hua,’ from the 1971 movie Amar Prem. The song was originally sung by the legendary Kishore Kumar. In another video, she can be heard singing a Bengali song and enjoying herself.

However, the video has not gone down well with social media users who brutally trolled the overnight sensation.

“Kyun Himesh Reshammiya Ke Karmo Ki Saja Hum Log Bhugat Rahe Hai (Why are we taking the brunt of Himesh Reshammiya's deed),” questioned a user while another commented, “Kyon Badnaam Kar Rahi Ho Bengali logon ko (Why are you tarnishing the image of Bengali people).”

Another user wrote, “Isko hata do Insta se (Remove her from Instagram).”

“My friend was in coma. But he just woke up only to pause this video. Thank you so much,” wrote another user.

A fifth user wrote, “Lagta Hai iska mansik santulan hil chukka hai (She seems to have gone crazy).”

Worth mentioning, Ranu Mondal sang her way to fame with Lataji’s Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai. Himesh Reshammiya even recorded two songs with her, as she was dazed by all the attention. However, her magic did not last.

There were reports that even Salman Khan had bought Ranu Mondal a 50L flat and had offered her a chance to sing in Dabangg 3. However, later Salman issued a denial.
