A video shared on Instagram by content creator Jatin Kumar showcases a street vendor crafting these distinctive momos.
The process involves slicing a pineapple and using the pieces as exclusive fillings for the momos. The vendor skillfully seals, steams, and goes a step further by deep-frying the momos to crisp, golden-brown perfection.
The finished product is then plated, and in a dramatic reveal towards the end of the video, a man breaks a momo in two, unveiling the pineapple filling.
With 523K views, the reel has sparked a lively debate in the comments section. Instagram users seem to unanimously express scepticism and disapproval towards the concept of pineapple momos.
While some might be open to innovative twists, this particular fusion has evidently divided the momo enthusiasts' community, raising eyebrows and sparking a conversation about the boundaries of flavour experimentation.
