Incidents of perpetrators harassing girls and women are quite often reported. Catcalling, lewd comments, suggestive remarks, inappropriate touching, blocking their path or ogling by perpetrators make girls or women feel uncomfortable. Mostly college girls fall victim to such harassment. Not responding or raising a voice against the harassment can embolden the perpetrators and escalate their behaviour.

Recently, one such incident has come to light in which a shopkeeper, reportedly, asked college girls to say 'I Love You' if they wanted to get their mobiles recharged.  What the brave girls did next is certainly commendable.

In the viral video, a group of girls and boys can be seen gathered and yelling out loudly. A man in a blue T-shirt is seen surrounded by the boys and girls. Suddenly, one of the girls walked to the man and slapped him. Following that several other girls also started slapping and kicking him. They twist his hands and continue to yell. Some other girls can also be seen recording the incident on their mobiles.

Later, the boys escort him to his shop and the girls continue to follow him while venting their anger.

Reportedly, the incident took place in Didwana, Rajasthan. As claimed, the man runs a mobile recharge shop. The man asked girls, who came to his shop to recharge their mobiles, to say 'I love you' first.

While the source of the video couldn't be verified, it is shared on X by Ghar Ke Kalesh with a caption reading, "A shopkeeper was beaten up because of I Love You, he said "Pehle I love you bolo Phir Recharge karunga" to girls then see how the girls of Kuchaman showed bravery and Beat him up in Didwana Rajasthan." Though the authenticity behind the claims couldn't be verified, such a brave act of the girls has won the hearts of netizens. The video has been viewed by over 1.2 million users and liked by 12K users. Netizens have flooded the comments section commending the girls.
