SDM Jyoti Maurya, a Provincial Civil Service officer in UP’s Bareilly, has taken social media by storm after she was accused of cheating and corruption by her husband Alok Maurya. Amidst allegations and counter-allegations, a new video of the SDM has gone viral in which she can be heard abusing her husband.
The woman officer can be heard using filthy language and abusing Alok's parents for working as sweepers. However, Alok remains calm. Now, he has been running from pillar to post to get justice.
“Your parents are sweepers, good for nothing. Mine is a Zamindar family,” SDM Jyoti can be heard shouting.

As per reports, Alok, a resident of Prayagraj, worked at the Panchayat Raj Department. He married Jyoti in 2010 and decided to help her pursue her studies. He took a loan so that she could go for coaching.
Eventually, Jyoti secured the third rank among women and 16th in the Public Service Commission and was posted as the SDM. The family was overjoyed and the couple also welcomed twin daughters in 2015. Everything seemed fine until 2020.
Even after being a mother of twin daughters, Jyoti started to change after her success. She allegedly started an illicit relationship with the District Commandant of Home Guards in Ghaziabad in 2020. They started conversing frequently, but Alok couldn’t doubt anything, considering their professional connection.
This continued for two years and in 2022 Alok happened to see her phone and came to know about her affair. Since then, he has been trying to pursue her, requesting her to end her illicit affairs, but to no avail.
Instead, the SDM has accused Alok of dowry torture and has even sent him to jail. On the other hand, he is also getting death threats to take a divorce.
The story of Alok went viral after a user posted one of his videos on social media.
