Monkey hugs random woman chanting 'Hare Ram' at restaurant, video winning internet; watch

Monkeys are extremely mischievous, energetic and adventurous. Their action is hard to predict. However, they are quite intelligent, clever, agile and playful. These primates are also known for their complex communication systems through vocalization, facial expressions and body language. They experience a range of emotions similar to humans. In this social media age, we come across different videos that show unexpected actions of monkeys.

Recently, one such video surfaced on social media that shows a gentle and friendly monkey hugging a random woman. While the reason behind such action is unknown, the moment will fill your heart with love.

In the video, the monkey is seen sitting on the lap of the woman while she chants 'Hare Ram, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare...'

For a while, the monkey climbs back to the table and constantly looks at the woman while she continues to chant. After a while, the monkey goes back to her lap and hugs her. At the same time, other family members of the woman join her in chanting 'Ram Ram...' Surprisingly, the primate starts nodding its head as if it participates in the chanting. The monkey continues its action of moving back to the table and again to her lap, hugging her and nodding its head.

The video is shared on X by Anand #IndianfromSouth. As claimed by the user, the family from Kerala was on a visit to Badrinath. They got into a restaurant for some food. A monkey followed them to the restaurant. The woman in the video then started chanting "Hare Ram" and "Sree Ram Jai Ram." And the monkey surprisingly reacted this way.
