The digital world can be both helpful and harmful. It assists people but at the same time it also attracts scammers who use various tactics to exploit users. They seek personal information and attempt to steal money.

Many scammers operate on social media platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram, where they pose as potential employers or offer fake investment opportunities.

Recently, a user named Chetty Arun shared a humorous encounter with a scammer on 'X' (formerly Twitter). He posted screenshots of their conversation and joked about it, saying, "I have money, but I'm looking for love."

In this chat, a person claiming to be an HR representative named Lavanya approached Chetty Arun. She mentioned obtaining his contact details from professional networks like LinkedIn and Naukri.com and discussed a job opportunity.

However, Chetty Arun diverted from the professional conversation, complimenting Lavanya's name and asking about its meaning.

The scammer, pretending to be Lavanya, politely acknowledged the compliment and tried to steer the conversation back to the job details, avoiding personal topics.

As the scammer asked for personal information for the job, Chetty humorously continued to talk about seeking love instead.

The scammer replied with humour as well, “There is no program for love,” making it clear that their conversation was about work, not love.

In the end, the scammer abruptly left the chat, leaving it on a comical note.

This WhatsApp chat went viral on social media, and people found it amusing. Some commented on Arun's post, with one person noting the scammer's response: "Lavanya yaaaar, where is pyaaar."

Others joined the conversation and made humorous comments on the post shared on the 'X' platform. Some users even shared their own experiences with scammers, adding humour to the conversation with laughing emojis.
