Man hand-feeds water to thirsty lioness from bottle, winning hearts; watch

Almost every living creature needs water to survive. However, with the rise in global warming, water scarcity has emerged as a concern across the world. Several places across different countries are facing the brunt of global warming and people are suffering from acute shortage of drinking water. The suffering of animals and birds is no different from humans.

While efforts are on to save wildlife, instances have been found when wildlife lovers have stepped ahead to save wild animals. Even certain videos have surfaced on social media that show people feeding water to thirsty wild animals. However, anyone would rethink a million times before trying to quench the thirst of a thirsty carnivore.

As seen in the video, a big lioness from behind a bush can be seen approaching a human. The lioness doesn’t seem to be violent. Rather, it approaches the human carrying a water bottle. The man instantly starts hand-feeding water to the lioness. 

While the man pours the water from the bottle into his other palm, the big cat licks it all.

The video shared on Twitter by Indian Forest Services (IFS) official Susanta Nanda with a caption reading: “If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water,” has won the hearts of netizens.

Netizens have applauded the humanitarian act of the man who hand-fed water to the thirsty lioness.
