Love-struck youth cuts off village power after girlfriend didn't answer calls, watch

When it comes to love, people often go to great lengths to express their emotions- some write poetry, others surprise their partners with gifts. But in one village, a young man decided to express his heartbreak in a way that left everyone quite literally in the dark. 

A viral video shows him cutting off electricity to his girlfriend’s entire village simply because her phone line was busy. If Bollywood loves drama, this man clearly took notes.

In the now-viral clip, the man can be seen on an electric pole armed with oversized pliers. Moments later, he snips through the tangled wires, reportedly shutting down the power supply in the area.

His motivation? According to media reports, the youth got frustrated over his partner not answering his calls. Instead of a heartfelt conversation, he delivered a blackout.

A man from Ganeshpur village would cut electricity every evening just so he could meet his girlfriend under the cover of darkness. While neighboring areas enjoyed uninterrupted power, locals endured blackouts until his secret was uncovered.
