It is quite common to spot lions on streets, villages, and towns in close proximity to Gir National Park in Gujarat. Locals often spot lions taking a leisurely stroll. There are several such incidents recorded on cameras.

Recently, parts of Gujarat experienced heavy and continuous rainfall. After the rainfall stopped, a lion decided to take a stroll in the town and luckily the visuals got captured on the camera.

In the video, the lion can be seen walking on a flyover while several vehicles can be seen passing by. The vehicle included four-wheelers and two-wheelers.

As it seems, a person from the other side of the road rushed to the middle of the road to capture the incident on his mobile camera. Meanwhile, some other commuters can be seen stopping their vehicles to witness the moment.

The video has gone viral on social media. Though the original source of the video couldn’t be verified, it is being shared massively on social media. Several users also have expressed their thoughts over the incident.

Experts believe the lions get forced out of their natural habitat and venture into human habitat because of the mud slush and their habitat being flooded due to incessant rain.
