Marriage is a life-long commitment in which two-person commit to remain faithful, true, and loyal to each other. But, if your partner even before your wedding lies and cheats on you, it is best to rethink your decision. A similar incident happened in Uttar Pradesh where a bride came to know to about the lies of the groom and took the best possible step.

In a shocking case of matrimonial fraud, a groom's lies were exposed before the bride and her family just hours before marriage. The incident was reported from Etah in Uttar Pradesh.

According to a Zee News Hindi report, the groom and his family had lied about the former's profession. They had claimed that the groom was a government officer working in the Indian Railways and subsequently demanded a dowry of Rs 20 lakh from the bride's family.

The bride’s family had also reportedly agreed to their demand and given the dowry for the marriage. However, on the wedding day, after the ‘Jaimala Ceremony’ the bride and her family came to know about the groom’s lie about working at Railways.

When the bride came to know about the groom’s lie, she refused to marry him. Later, the bride’s family informed the police. They lodged a complaint against the groom for faking his job and dowry.
