In a move that blurs the line between quirky innovation and culinary curiosity, KFC has taken its iconic flavour beyond the dinner table with the launch of fried chicken-flavoured toothpaste. The limited-edition product, developed in collaboration with oral care brand Hismile, dropped on April 1 — and contrary to what many assumed, it wasn’t an April Fool’s prank.

Announcing the launch on Instagram, KFC wrote, “Not a prank. It's here. And it's Finger Lickin' Good. Hismile x KFC is available now, while supplies last.” According to the brand, the toothpaste is inspired by its signature “11 herbs and spices” and offers a brushing experience “like biting into a hot, juicy piece of KFC Original Recipe Chicken,” with a fresh and clean finish.

Fox News Digital has reported that inquiries about a possible restock have been made to Hismile, but no confirmation has been provided yet.

More Than Just Toothpaste

In addition to the toothpaste, KFC and Hismile also launched a specially designed electric toothbrush. Priced at $59 (around ₹5,097), the toothbrush features soft-tapered bristles, three dynamic cleaning modes, and a built-in timer. Described as “the perfect mix of fun and function,” the brush is aimed at fans who want to add a dash of KFC flair to their daily routine.
