Innovation is the buzzword of the modern world, and Indians are always at the front of the queue. Case in point, a Kerala man has been winning hearts online for his unique innovation using wood.

The man, identified as Ravindran, has developed a wooden treadmill that works without using electricity and battery. A video of his innovative product, an eco-friendly alternative, has been going viral and netizens have been all praises for the innovator.

A Twitter user identified as Manoj Kumar shared the good news and wrote, “This lungi and rubber slipper clad innovator Mr. Ravindran has created in Wayanad in Kerala a treadmill made of wood with no need for any electricity or battery. He already has two variations of it and is designed with classic applied physics. Bravo.”

Since being shared online, the video has garnered over 14.7K views with hundreds of comments from other social media users heaping praise on the man for the unique innovation.

A user tagged industrialist Anand Mahindra and wrote, “Sir, another innovative product for a high-tech product....as the sensors +electronics can add value to this keeping the utility and cost in mind...this can a go long way in reaching the product to enmass people of devolping world...Hope is there....”

“Goes on to show that the innovative spirit lives in spite of all the labour and political issues in Kerala,” commented another user.
A third user wrote, “Bravo! If bamboo could be practical solution it would be great as the environmental impact is minimal when bamboo is used!”
