Kangodzilla! Giant Kangaroo in Australia leaves netizens shocked, watch

Kangaroos are native to Australia and are renowned for their powerful hopping. They are easily distinguished from other animals for their powerful hind legs and their long muscular tails. The average height of these fascinating herbivore creatures can range from three to eight feet, depending on the species. How would a person react after encountering a giant kangaroo of 9 feet tall? Sounds like some fiction novel, isn't it?

A couple of days ago, a video surfaced on social media that features a giant Kangaroo, reportedly, 9 feet tall.

In the video, the giant kangaroo can be seen standing on a roadside and looking to and fro. The video was captured by a woman passing by the road. The woman is heard saying that she is scared by the big kangaroo. It seems, the woman recorded the video while being inside her car. After the kangaroo notices the car, it gets alert and starts moving.

While the authenticity of the claims couldn't be verified, anyone would get scared after seeing such a giant kangaroo, measuring 9 feet tall.

The video is shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Science Girl with a caption reading, "Giant kangaroo seen in Australia."

Well, the post has received mixed reactions. While some disagreed with the claims of the kangaroo measuring 9 feet tall, others expressed surprise after seeing the giant creature.

One user wrote, "That’s crazy! I didn’t know they could get that big. Australia has the coolest wildlife!" (sic)

"Kangaroo? More like Kangodzilla!!!!" wrote another. (sic)

A third user commented, "More like King Kongaroo." (sic)

Notably, Kangaroos belong to the Macropodidae family. These social animals are only found in Australia. Kangaroos can cover nearly a 25-foot distance in a single bound. Their powerful hind legs act like springs and their long muscular tails act like a fifth limb, helping them to balance their long and heavy body.
