An Indian student in Chicago was left profusely bleeding after he was attacked and robbed by a group of robbers. The horrifying incident was caught on CCTV cameras and has gone viral on social media.
The student was identified as Syed Mazahir Ali from Hyderabad, who is pursuing a Master's in Information & Technology at Indiana Weslay University in Chicago. He was walking towards his apartment when a bunch of robbers attacked him. The miscreants held him at gunpoint and robbed him at Campbell Ave, Chicago.
He was left profusely bleeding from his nose and mouth in the attack which also left him in deep shock. The incident has left his family in Hyderabad very worried. Concerned over his safety, Syed’s wife Syeda Ruquliya Fatima Rizvi has written to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to ensure that he gets proper treatment and help her travel to Chicago.

“I’m very much worried about the safety and security of my husband in Chicago, USA. I request you to kindly help him in getting the best medical treatment and if possible kindly make necessary arrangements so that I can travel to the USA along with my three minor children to be with my husband,” Syeda’s letter read.
Speaking to the media, Syed said, “America is my dream country. I came here to fulfill my dream and do my Masters. But yesterday’s incident has left me traumatic. I feel like leaving back to my home country.”
